Sarah Cameron

Behaviour Change

Sarah Cameron has expertise in a number of the Commission’s interest areas including behaviour change, supply chains, research methods and environmental sustainability. She is currently pursuing a PhD in politics and teaching research methods for the Master of Public Policy at the Australian National University.

Her previous experience includes working as National Programmes Team Leader for UK organisation Global Action Plan. In this role Sarah managed a team delivering workplace behaviour change programme Environment Champions for clients including esure, the University of Manchester, Accenture and E.ON. This project was awarded the 2008 Ashden Award for Sustainable Energy. Sarah also worked as a regional manager for the Power To Change project in Australia, a multi-stakeholder partnership between Origin Energy and the environment sector which engaged households to reduce carbon emissions from energy consumption. Sarah is proficient in Indonesian and for several years provided translation services for Oxfam's programmes aimed at improving labour standards in Indonesian sportswear factories.

Sarah’s qualifications include a Masters in Sustainability and Responsibility from Ashridge Business School and a Master of Studies majoring in public policy from the Australian National University. Sarah is an Associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
