DCMS and GLA have produced Legacy Action Plans. The commission has reviewed them and provided feedback. HMG has revised its legacy delivery and governance arrangements again, setting up new boards to improve the management and reporting processes and assurance arrangements. The GLA has recruited a new Principal Policy Officer to oversee the priority areas where the GLA is seeking a legacy for London, these are: employment and skills, volunteering, sport and East London. This is primarily about pursuing a socio-economic legacy in Mayoral Priority areas where the GLA group can help make it happen. Update reports are produced by those leading delivery and reported into the London Legacy Group. Closed (partly as recommendations in the 2009 Annual Review take precedence and partly delivered through other means)

Progress Made

DCMS and GLA have produced Legacy Action Plans. The Commission has reviewed them and provided feedback. HMG has revised its legacy delivery and governance arrangements again, setting up new boards to improve the management and reporting processes and assurance arrangements. The GLA is recruiting additional people to the London 2012 Co-ordination team to manage the GLA's areas of responsibility. There have been delays in setting up the GLA's reporting against its Olympic Programme commitments, mainly through delays in recruitment. Progress made
