LOCOG are changing the way their SMS functions so that the Functional Sustainability Requirements for all Functional Areas will not be the main way this is achieved. We have recommended that targets be set for functional areas so that they are able to innovate around these targets and that the innovative ways of achieving them follow through into procurement.
