The GLA has determined priority areas where they are seeking a socio-economic legacy, based around Mayoral priorities where the GLA group can help make it happen. These are: employment and skills, volunteering, sport and East London. This is primarily about pursuing a socio-economic legacy. This is reported into the London Legacy Group. A new Principal Policy Officer has been recruited to oversee this area. Update reports are produced by those leading delivery and reported into the London Legacy Group. The GLA is recruiting additional people to the London 2012 Co-ordination team to manage the GLA's areas of responsibility. There have been delays in setting up the GLA's reporting against its Olympic Programme commitments, mainly through delays in recruitment. Progress Made
