That the GLA Group resolves the issue of resources available to support CompeteFor, Diversity Works for London and job brokerage as soon as possible to ensure that the good performance in local employment continues.

The operation and management of CompeteFor has been out to tender for an operator to manage it on a commercial basis. DWfL continues to operate from the GLA with a low level of staffing. Job brokerages are in discussion with the LLDC about the methods of co-operation for the future. Closed

Funding is in place for skills development programmes and the local brokerages continue to be supported. DWfL is now part of the GLA but only has 1 officer supporting it. CompeteFor is continuing but the buyer engagement is currently only resourced until Game-time. Good progress has been made in securing Games-time job opportunities for local people. Progress Made
