Figures for the method of removal of waste have been provided to the Commission. Whilst barge transport during 2010 was still significantly lower than road movements it did achieve approximately 25% during 2010. This is higher than the figures quoted to the Commission during the waste review and represents an improvement in performance. The number of road movements has also decreased since the early operations through onsite compaction of waste materials. The wharf has now closed and all movement will have to be by road, as movement by rail has not been possible. Complete
