The ODA has developed biodiversity Implementation Guidance for Project Teams (IGPT). The aim of this is to provide guidance for incorporating biodiversity, including the relevant parts of the Biodiversity Action Plan into the design process. LOCOG's Venues and Infrastructure Sustainability Strategy and Sustainable Design Requirements for Temporary Venues and Overlay include biodiversity requirements. We have seen evidence of ecological surveying being carried out for venues with potential ecological impacts. As LOCOG's venues are temporary there is not the opportunity for the installation of permanent biodiversity features in the same way as on the Olympic Park. Complete

The ODA has developed a Biodiversity Implementation Guide for Project Teams (IGPT). The aim of the guide is to provide guidance for incorporating biodiversity into the design process. Complete LOCOG Venue Requirements (LVR) have been developed for venues which include biodiversity requirements for design. Sustainable Design Guidance has also been developed. We have seen evidence of biodiversity being taken into account in the design process for Greenwich Park. Progress Made
